Dhan is a managing partner of DRNP Advocates and he has extensive experience in defending clients before the Indonesian courts in all court types and levels.
Prior to establish DRNP Advocates, Dhan worked as a lawyer in several prominent Indonesian lawfirm such as Frans Winarta & Partners, Fredrik J. Pinakunary Law Offices, Ambadar & Partners and Widjojo (Oei Tat Hway) with particular focus in Litigation and Dispute Resolution (civil, commercial, bankruptcy and intellectual property disputes).
Dhan has been successfull in defending domestic and foreign or multinational companies from various industries, among others, aviation, insurance / reinsurance, contractors, automotive manufacturer, finance and banking, mining, energy, oil and gas, telecommunication, fast moving consumer good and pharmacy in Indonesia court. Dhan is also experienced in assisting the clients in the investigation phase conducted by police officer or investigator and also involved in criminal litigation (trial at court).

Ltd. subsidiary Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia), AirAsia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Hevilift Aviation Indonesia (previously known as Nyaman Air), Motor Image Pte. In addition to his main responsibility as the managing partner of the firm, Dhan is also active in advising clients on aviation / airlines liability and intellectual property issues.
On several occasions, Dhan was invited as speakers and participants in legal forum to discuss aviation law, intellectual property, court procedural law and also invited as moot court jury held by some university in Indonesia. Dhan is also author of popular legal articles (op-ed) that was published in newsletters and magazines.
Dhan is licensed to practice before the court throughout the Indonesian jurisdiction.
Academic Qualifications:
- Sarjana Hukum / S.H. (Bachelor of Law) – equivalent to LLB, University of Padjadjaran, Bandung.
Professional Qualifications:
- Admitted as an Advocate by Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI).
- Registered Intellectual Property Attorney / Consultant based on Decree of Ministry of Justice and Human Rights Republic of Indonesia Number M.HH-01.HI.09.01.
- Certified Legal Auditor (C.L.A) by National Institution of Profession’s Certification (BNSP).
